Frank Espinosa

Creative Director

“My love of illustrated stories started in childhood with the great artists of the Golden Age of Comics – Jack Kirby, Roy Crane, E. C. Segar, Bill Tytla and Milton Caniff. My interest in art grew to include many of the classic fine artists and illustrators. Later on I became fascinated with how things moved and was drawn (pun intended) to animation. I think you can see that influence today of that motion-driven style of my own artwork.

I’ve brought that passion for storytelling, for creating extraordinary characters and world-building to Zum Zum. Some of the world’s most popular stories will be featured in our Classics Collection. These works have been beautifully illustrated in the past and our challenge is to bring a new vision to these master stories that will encourage readers to experience them in new ways with new eyes.
Specifically designed for the iPad and other digital devices, Zum Zum iBooks makes a clear and clean connection between readers and creators – no focus groups, no marketing spins, no filters. Zum Zum – the go-to place for the best, more original and exciting reading in town!
